Event Tech Live - Sessions I’m looking forward to seeing

If you work in the events industry, then you know that event technology is always changing and evolving. That's why it's so important to stay up-to-date on the latest innovations and best practices. And there's no better place to do that than at Event Tech Live.

This year's lineup of sessions is packed with inspiring, thought-provoking content that will leave you eager to put what you've learned into practice. On the final weeks before the event, I'm going to share some of the sessions i'm looking forward to seeing at #ETL. Here are the first few sessions that I'm looking forward to.

How Slack Uses Slack to Organize Its Own Events and Build Community

One of the most popular messaging apps around, Slack has become a go-to tool for businesses of all sizes. But did you know that Slack also uses its own platform to organize its events and build community? In this session, hosted by Vanessa Lovatt learn how Slack uses Slack to streamline event planning and execution, engage attendees before, during, and after an event, and create a sense of community both online and offline.

Demystifying AI

Is AI simply snake oil? There is a lot to be said for the benefits that AI can bring, but there is still a lot of uncertainty about it in the events industry. This will be a great session to be involved with, including: Humphrey Chen, CEO of Clipr, James Swingland, Grip, Panos Moutafis, Co-founder & CEO, Zenus hosted by Abigail Cannons, Grip.

Combatting Boring Events Using TV-Like Magic with Cecilia Lavin

We've all been to boring events that feel more like an obligation than a fun night out. But it doesn't have to be that way! In this session, Cecilia Lavin will show you how to use TV-like magic to make your events more engaging, exciting, and fun. You'll learn how to capture attention, hold interest, and create lasting memories for your attendees.

Tech Demo from Clipr

Everyone Should Be Using It! Clipr is a relatively new event technology that is quickly gaining popularity among event professionals. In this tech demo, you'll get a chance to see Clipr in action and learn how it can enable you to do more with video. Trust me, after seeing Clipr in action, you'll want to start using it for all your events!

#SmartVideo - Video Strategy and Monetisation for Trade Shows and 365 Communities

In today's world, video is one of the most powerful marketing tools available. But if you're not using video correctly, you could be missing out on valuable opportunities for engagement and monetization. In this session, Bogdan Maran will show you how to use video strategically to drive more traffic, engage your audience 365 days a year, and monetize your video content.

Your Host, Matt Coyne, That's me!

Plus. as a Brucey bonus, I'll be on hand throughout the day, in the networking areas and at the evening party to chat tech and events with you if you want. Or we can talk about running, swimming, surfing...ya know, not eventtech too ;-)
