Futuregazing at MPI EMEC

I was delighted to attend the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) European Meeting and Events Conference (EMEC) in Brighton this week and pen my thoughts and interviews to screen on behalf of Event Industry News.

It was an inspiring event where conversations around the role of technology and its relevance to event organizers were had whether that be for diversity and inclusion initiatives, sustainability, or community building.

It was evident that leveraging tech solutions is now a necessity for events, as it can be used to drive change, extend engagement, and foster collaboration and innovation.

The future of events lies in the integration of cutting-edge tech, and the event provided a great forum for participants to discuss their own experiences and interpretations of how to build community-led engagement.

By embracing digital transformation as well as fostering collaboration and innovation, events can become sustainable, inclusive, and relevant to future audiences.

The message was clear - it is time to evolve the new normal if we want to make events truly successful.

It was a pleasure speaking and listening to the likes of Carina Bauer Jamie Vaughan Mathys Taekema Dax Callner Abi Cannons - EWD Chloe Richardson Gabrielle Austen-Browne (she/her) Richard O'Connor MigueI Neves Kim Myhre and many others to discuss the future of events.
