The Future of EventTech is Bright

As I looked out from the centre of Event Tech Live, I was surrounded by waves of sound and conversations that ebb and flow like the tide.

Surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors and images, it feels as though my senses were on overload. Yet somehow, amidst all this noise and commotion of the in-person event, I find myself feeling calm, grounded, and in the moment.

London Tech

I've loved Event Tech Live London since its inception, continually being immersed in a sea of energy, excitement, and innovation. I can't help but wonder - what's next for this incredible events industry?

Trends forecasts of old are exactly that, old. No one predicted what would come in March 2020, but the innovators of our industry strived to dream of new ways to transform the way we connect, communicate, and collaborate and they continued to share their experiences last week at #ETLLondon22.

How the events industry supply chain has innovated in the last two years should be applauded and it was clear from the case studies, product showcases, and conversations at ETL that, just like waves traveling thousands of miles across the ocean before settling onto our shores, event technology specialists will continue to exchange new ideas in order to propel this industry forward, ever-evolving, ever-changing, ever innovating, always moving, taking new shape with each wave that lands.

Tech Event London

Event Tech Live 2022, a main stay on our November calendar, is a space where creativity and collaboration thrive. In my opinion, it is the leading event for event professionals looking to take their events to the next level.

Whether you're an #eventprof looking for strategies to increase ROI, a supplier seeking new opportunities and partnerships, curious about data trends or simply tuning in online to see what the future of event tech holds, I highly recommend attending Event Tech Live - because it's not just about the cutting edge technology, but also about connecting with the future of event professionals.

Our digital future

There's no doubt about it. The future success of events is in a combination of virtual, hybrid and in-person event strategies. The digital future of events is one that leverages technology to create immersive and engaging experiences for global events business.

From my position as host of the main stage, I looked out at the sea of attendees and saw an endless amount of potential. I marvel at how many people are interested in sharing their experiences and expertise, each attending for different reasons but all there because they care about connecting with others and making events of every shape and form a huge success.

This industry is ripe with opportunity, ready to test new ideas and grow in ways we haven't even imagined yet. And while it's difficult to predict, the rapid growth and evolution of the event tech industry has been nothing short of incredible. One thing is for certain - with all the innovation and passion that surrounded me over the last week at THE tech event in London, particularly the stories shared throughout the conference, the future of event tech is sure to be bright!
