95% Organic growth
95%
Seems like a nice number right? I mean it's not 100%, but then it's not 0% either.
So why have I titled this post 95%?
Partly because I want to test the 80/20 rule of content headlines, in that out of every ten views, only two people will get this far (comment if you made it - I'd love to know), and also because I want to talk about content quality, briefly.
For one client, we have increased their organic search acquisition by over 95% in just three months.
This impressive growth was not just due to a catchy headlines, but rather a combination of high-quality content that resonated with their customer profiles, effective SEO strategies and an influx of social sharing of a variety of content types.
In some cases, the headline did positively affect results, it was predominantly the substance and value of the content itself that will keep readers engaged and coming back for more. In fact, in this same period, average engagement time also grew by 36% as-well. Not bad eh?
While catchy headlines are important, don't forget to focus on the overall quality of your content.
This will not only attract readers organically, who are genuinely searching for what you may offer them, but also keep them interested and coming back for more.
