Notebook LM

Recently, I was introduced to Notebook LM by Google. (Google it - pretty sure it will come up top 😁 )

I discovered it when Adam Parry sent me a podcast recording of a report we're working on with Waves Connects and tbh it was unreal! The discussion picked up all the key points, and it was delivered as though it wasn't just some bots chatting away at each other. It felt like genuine conversation.

So this week, I took Tag Digital's Tagged For Success newsletter and thread that into the software. I hadn't (at that stage) read the newsletter, but instead thought I'd see what the podgods could come up with.

I'm genuinely intrigued to know what you think of this. If I didn't know it was AI doing it's thing, I probably wouldn't be writing this post - I'd just think "oh cool, I listened to a nice pod..." you catch my drift.

As another use case, last week one of the heads of SEO at a company in my roundtables (they're a pretty big company, I won't give it away), uses it to load up lengthy 70 page reports and such like so that they can listen to them as a podcast on their way into work, rather than trying to scroll through that many pages in small on their phone. Seems like a pretty good use case.
